Story

Family owned and operated, Planted is more than a restaurant: We’re a juice bar, eatery, and gathering place for our community to enjoy nourishing food and drink. Inspired by ancient traditions and modern techniques, we’ve created a completely plant-based menu full of delicious items good for mind, body, and soul. Enjoy a cold-pressed juice, a leafy treat, or one of our famous meatless burgers. With only the freshest ingredients, we’re writing a story about what it means to truly eat well. Awesome spot! Vegetarian or even vegan options are rare along the central coast. Planted is an exception - and a great one for that matter. Our burgers were delicious. We sampled some sprouted crackers with cashew cream cheese, which were very tasty as well.

Visited today for my first time. Tried the raw salad and it was very good, nice dressing, fresh produce and we'll presented. Wife had the jalapeno burger and was pleased. The food was not bad for a vegetarian restaurant in this area. I will return and hope to update to five stars. Service was very, very slow. We were the only yabe in the restaurant and with five staff people the service should have been exceptional and was not. The bakery case was nearly empty and if filled could induce add-on sales.

So glad to have a healthy planted-based option in the village. The juices and smoothies are delicious and full of goodness. The burgers and salad are decent, though would love to have some 'crunch' on the plate: it's soft burger, on soft bread with soft salad. Gets 5 stars from me for the menu overall, though it's a little pricey.

The food is above average quality but prices are very high and service was unpleasant. I bought a strawberry kids shake, quinoa salad with goat cheese, and the risen juice for $26. The salad did not come with goat cheese as paid for. We received the salad and the shake and after ten minutes still had not received the juice. I assumed they were making it fresh and asked the two gals at the counter if they were working on it. The gal doing the food prep copped an attitude as was so put out by my question. She than informed me that they were out of the risen premade juice and did not offer to make another one. The gal that took my order originally did not remember at all having taken my order ten minutes earlier but did offer me another juice. People make mistakes and this small incident could have easily been solved with a quick apology and genuine effort to rectify the situation but that is not what happened and I left with a bad taste in my mouth.
