They are incosistent with the types of clothing they take. Lots of the clothing look pilled, worn, stretched out and old. I am totally confused about what they are looking for. I have seen holes, missing buttons, and torn off labels. Any decent consignment place would never take things like that. My daughter and I were there at closing time and they were extremely rude! I have never been to a clothing store where they treated customers in this manner. I told her I would not buy anything from them with that attitude. You can tell there is no customer service standards or training there. The only reason I have been here multiple times is that my young teen likes it. She does not notice what I notice about the clothing. If you must go to Plato's Closet, go to the one across the river...much better selection there.

Definitely not worth the time taking your items in here. I'm pretty certain they didn't bother looking through any of our gently worn clothes. They say they accept men's and women's fashion, but they want teens and young adult (early 20's) clothing. We had a lot of name brand items (AE, Forever 21, Old Navy). They said they couldn't sell what we had in their store because mostly "hoodrats" shop there (that came straight from the girl behind the counter).

This place is joke!!!! i have brought several things in there of high quality and they did not buy them. Compared to what they have to sell in there my stuff was so above what is on the racks. Spent over an hour there observing and found that if you were not a friend or tiny bopperr you did not have a chance on selling your stuff to them. Funny how i brought 3 hand bags that i had bought from them less than a year ago and they passed on them because they said they were out of style. Mind you 2 coach bags and a michael kohrs bag . The clothes i looked through were tattered and worn beyond anyone buying them. Do your self a favor and go to good will. Know wonder the inventory is so high. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE!!!

My grandma was selling her shoes that was very nice and name brand,for kids/teens and there was a few shoes that they didn't take....I asked the lady about why she didn't take the other shoes and she said that they won't take them because they looking more of a old gown women type and that they was looking for and hoe type of women's 🤔....I'm like not all girls are out her trying to look like hoes.

i had brought two boxes full of my clothing that i grew out of and i had name brand Polo, Nautica, Hollister, Tommy, and Calvin Klein items and they only took 5 items one being a pair of 30$ shoes with the tags still on them and i only received 9$. not worth the trip
