Plato's Closet® is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We specialize in gently used clothes and accessories for teen and twenty something girls and guys. All stores are independently owned franchises.

At Plato's Closet® you'll find a huge selection of trendy, designer styles as well as those every day basics you can't live without - all at up to 70% off mall retail prices!

Our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 15/16 and guys size 28 to 38 waist. The gently used clothing and accessories that we buy are: top-name brands, cool, hip, trendy, and clean. Typically we buy items that have been in the retail stores within the past 12 to 18 months.

Our process is quick and easy:

1. Go through your overflowing closet
2. Bring in your cool stuff
3. Walk out with new cool stuff or $$$ in your pocket!

Good selection, okay prices. Selling here is a little bit of a hassle... they're VERY specific as far as what they want, so lots of things get rejected. I've gotten lots of brand name things for really good prices here though. It's not like a thrift store, it's more like a discount store. I've gotten a pair of Nike shorts here for $8 though and I got a hand painted pair of Vans for like $15 so I'd say I have definitely not regretted going shopping here.

Was very unhappy with my experience. Staff was not helpful. Didn't realize animals were allowed inside of establishment. Very unprofessional and distracting. Will not recommend to others. All around disappointed.

Employees were very friendly, but trying to sell anything appears to be a waste of time. Most of what I brought in was the right type of thing and in very good condition, but I was told that there was too much wear on those items. Some of those items were only worn once, some not at all, and a fair amount of what was on the racks had considerable wear (some to the point that I personally would not consider it wearable), so I don't understand why they would take those but not my things.

They stole my things! I left because they said that it would take an hour, when I returned they only had a few things they wanted for 16$! I drove all the way from Gulfport for this nonsense. I left without checking my bag of items they gave back and discovered they took more! Never will I ever come back or recommend this business!

Will never sell them anything ever again because if they decide to take your clothes (name brand) which is a very rare occurrence. They give you low ball prices when they buy. It's just really pointless to even try to sell them anything
