Pleasant Creek Campground is nestled in a wooded setting along a tributary of the Vermillion River, surrounded by rolling hills and mature trees. We are located 5 miles from the entrance of Starved Rock State Park in the gateway town of Oglesby, Illinois. Pleasant Creek Campground is quietly tucked away in the heart of the Illinois Valley and just minutes from unique shops, historical sites, recreational activities, and amazing dining!

Nice location. Good restrooms, just not enough! Good showers, just not enough! 
I asked if I could set up a tent on my site along with my small pop-up camper.  I was told I would need two sites.  However, when we arrived we saw many sites with campers AND tents. Because of this deception, I will not recommend this campground.

Perfect alternative to Starved Rock campground!! Scenic and private with good amenities. Could smell the bathroom from far away. It was quite hot so that isn't too surprising. Showers were a bit grimy and was nervous to step in. Overall though a good experience and will be going back soon. Staff very friendly and welcoming too!

First times camper and let me tell you this place gave a real camping experience by haveing their sights in and around actual wooded area and not just in flat terrain surrounded by other campers. The prices are unbeatable! Clean bathrooms and showers! We had THE BEST TIME! PLEASANT CREEK IS PLEASANT! THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT HOSPITALITY! Keep up the great work!

Stayed 2 nights.  Campgrounds are VERY close together.  Would be good for larger groups that would book all adjacent campgrounds, otherwise you will be right on top of another family.

We went for a camping trip during the Memorial day weekend, the camp grounds were good but It was all too close by to each other it was kind of disappointing. We camped in "the glades" primitive. We had 2 sites booked adjacent to one another and we  had 6 Person tent for  each site, we were lucky the spot right next to our site was free otherwise I don't think there would have been enough room for the tent or the picnic table. 
The bathrooms were good maintained properly.
