Lake Davis is one of our favorite places. The water is nice. The forest is nice. It is quiet. Campsites are big. No speedboating makes it a great place for kayaks or paddle boards.

One of the most beautiful places around. No matter what season it is there is always something to do whether it be skiing in the winter, rafting in the spring, or chilling by the lake in the hot summer sun. The adventure never stops. There are many trails, lakes, and rivers to see. With so many places to go you'll get a taste of some good fresh air out there. Have fun and remember Leave No Trace, so the next person can enjoy it too.

This place is really special. If you're sick of the crowds at other places near-by, this is a really great option. Stunning scenery and blissfully quiet.

There are many campgrounds with decent facilities near lakes where swimming and boating are the main recreation. There are beautiful hiking trails in most areas of the forest and small towns with gas and good restaurants are scattered throughout. The Pacific Crest Trail is accessible in a few places. This is a wonderful place to get close to nature.
