Stayed in RV park one week (7th day free) with full hookups. Great service. Staff jumped into action when pipes in park froze and broke on a day which was their coldest in years. Soon had it fixed. The only inconvenience I "suffered" was that I had to put off using its laundry for one day. This is a great location to base yourself if you want to tour plantations which is what we did. Just across the Great River Road which runs past the RV park is the levee from which I viewed the busyness of that part of the river. Our internet service was good, rarely slowed down. Grounds are spacious. Long term rv-ers who work in nearby industries are helpful, courteous, and friendly, just like the staff.

Constant Improvement As part of the team who has seen and been a part of the transformation of this historic plantation home into a very unique camping experience. The home was without revenue and without a plan to create lasting support to maintain such a maintenance demand that historic properties of this type. We strive to always improve and create better guest experiences that they will enjoy and cherish. I give these five stars to the staff here as they do a great job with a positive attitude. While things that can be improved can always be pointed out, this staff is serious about making anything and everything better. Thanks for the effort and dedication to all pulling on the rope here at Poche Plantation.

A quiet RV park that is close to many plantations. A great base for touring them.
