Honestly, I think Pohick was more inviting before the renovations. Being closed for over a year was very inconvenient to me, and I was underwhelmed with the changes. The layout of the parking is not practical and made a lot more sense before the changes. However, I have been going to this library for my whole life and have never had issues with service or availability of books. The staff has always helpful in finding books and working with making a new library card and working with the printers and computers.

Love this library! It's very clean and friendly staff! Only reason not giving 5 stars is because it can get a bit noisy. Some parents think the library is a second park for their kids to run around and be loud. I would like to see the staff to make strict rules regarding noise policy.

Good, clean library for kids. It can be a little noisy....particularly after one of the kids' library classes get out. But that's what makes this a good library for kids. :)

Unfortunately, while the newly remodelled facilities are great, the staff has no standards for library conduct. They are very compromising with rules; in the quiet reading room, anyone can eat loudly, bang objects on tables and sing, without any repercussions. I complained politely to the ladies at the front desk, who treated my complaints with laughter. Nobody did anything. There are signs all over the library about not eating and not talking, but the staff seems too afraid to enforce.them. Great building, not so good management.
