I've had multiple good experiences at poke Bowl sushi. The food is extremely fresh. You can tell just by looking at the ingredients that they have out. The lettuce is never wilted it's always very crisp. Good selection of proteins and extensive selection of toppings. They also have cream cheese which a lot of poke Bowl locations don't carry . More reasonably priced than most of the other shops in the area. Absolutely phenomenal service. The employees are always extremely friendly. The location is a bit tucked away. I would recommend turning at the Shell gas station it's behind that.
Do you see this picture? The number 1 best thing about this place is protein portion sizes, they have been consistently giving huge fish/chicken portions for the pokebowls for the past couple years I have been here. All of the options for the bowls are good in any combination which is nice Sriracha finishing sauce & kimchi are a little overpowering in flavor IMO but still good. I got the bubble tea one time and it was meh, but I go to a place called pokebowl for pokebowls. It's unfortunate that the location of this place is so hidden because they look like they need more traffic. The other pokebowl place in Timonium has half the amount of fish for the same price, not worth it. Definitely come here!
Me and a friend went in the middle of the day on a Saturday a little earlier this month and were greatly disappointed at the lack of service. I read the reviews and had already picked out what I wanted to order. I was so excited to try them out. They were open but someone was in the back and did not come to the front and the woman sitting next to the register was on her phone and seemingly uninterested in helping paying customers, so she ignored us as we stood there waiting to be serviced. We were the only ppl in the restaurant. Very unprofessional. We will not be back and I would not recommend. Things like this have you wondering was it me? Is it because I’m black? So sad that this is still the world we live in, that I would have to question that.
This place is a hidden gem. Love their bowls and burritos. Everything is fresh and filled to the brim. Their sushi prices are also the best in the area. I always get their Ocean roll and Hawaiian bowl whenever I visit. The staff are super friendly and always ask if you want more stuff in the bowl!Food: 5/5
The food has good flavors. But there is a huge disconnect in communication with the staff. I have a severe gluten and dairy allergy and wanted to know what sauces have any allergens. The staff did not understand that at all. At least it would be helpful if the menu clearly indicated what food contains what allergens.
The group I was with opted to dine-in though the place seemed more oriented for take out. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. I had the Hawaiian bowl. The sauces meshed well with every ingredient. Many bites with a new ingredient felt pleasantly unique and kept the dish interesting. The bowls are generously portioned, most of the group was able to make the bowl into two meals. In town and thought I'd take a chance and try this little hole in the wall place. I have to tell you I have paid twice as much for sushi rolls that don't taste nearly on par is these in Chicago. Definitely worth it!! This is my new stop when I'm back in town. Super Yummy!!!!
I placed an order at this restaurant for the very first time through GrubHub and when my food arrived I thought the restaurant messed up my order. I called the restaurant right away and told them about my issue and right away I spoke with the owner who stated that they were going to remake my order and deliver it to my address personally. No questions asked just very understandable about my troubles. Once the driver got here and they showed me where I was in fact wrong and they did make my order right I was one embarrassed and two thankful. They didn’t make me feel bad for my mistake, but instead simply replaced my order. I will definitely be returning customer, my apologies to the owner for my mistake and thank you for rectifying the situation without any hassle!
How does this place have good reviews? My bowl looked delicious, but I could tell from the first bite that something was wrong with the salmon & tuna. Either they are getting the cheapest fish ever, or they gave me old fish. Threw out both bowls.
Excellent Poke pronounced poh-kay means "to slice, or cut" in Hawaiian. This spot has a delicious selection right in front of you! I love the chunks of raw ahi tuna, tossed with green onion in Ginger Hawaiian Sauce. The staff here is friendly, always serving fresh ingredients... We will be coming back for more very soon!
