This is a great place to see many types of native plants that attract and support a wide variety of beneficial pollinators. I wish it was a little larger, but it’s done very well. Today we need more places like this, more than ever! Photos taken 6/22/19
Beautiful little park with several native plant gardens. Good place to spot monaech butterflies and hummingbirds.
Beautiful Park. The project on this park is to bring back flowers and plants that help bees to pollinate and butterflies to live
Nice little park, more like garden, with a short paved trail to a gazebo lined with plots of native wildflowers and prairie plants to attract and help support local and migrating pollinators like butterflies and bees! On an evening walk after it got dark, I learned from Olathe PD the hours are dawn to dusk even though they are not posted at the entrance. There's no real parking except for on the end of the street at small circular lot. No amenities here water, bathrooms. Just a 10-20 minute stop to smell the flowers or maybe have a lunch in the gazebo.
Can not believe the city of Olathe let's buns and drug addicts sleep here for weeks at a time leaving trash in the lake
This park is lovely! Native plants to attract bees, butterflies, birds, bats, hence the name. Really an unexpected gem.
This sweet park is a great place to walk around, especially in late summer when butterflies can be found here in abundance.
What an unexpected delight! This wonderful little garden is tucked away just a stones throw from old downtown Olathe. It changes with the seasons so it is always different.
A nice quiet place to enjoy nature and have a little lunch!
It's a hidden treasure! One of my favorite spots in Olathe!
