Good lunch for 20 bucks and a natural juice. Is hard to beat that. My mom is Colombian. This food reminds me her food. That means is the really good. Very authentic food, with fair prices. The bathrooms were clean, the service is friendly and I had to wait like 19 minutes for my order. They gave super coco candies. That’s why I put a 5 star review. Parking next to the restaurant so make it a really nice choice when I’m in the area. If the owner read this, you should open one in the Hamptons, Colombian food there is a joke. You gonna make a lot money.
Yummy Colombian food. Service is great and attentive. Consider ordering half orders to regular order to share. We had lots of leftovers. The tostones with guacamole are pricey, but worth it.
Bandeja tipica and a mini version of it. It was all good until I started to chew on piece of egg shell. That really was gross. It happens but it just ruined my whole experience. But I would still give it another chance.Food: 4/5
The food is delicious. I had their rotisserie chicken with lettuce, salad, soup and fries. Everything was cooked very well. The tres leches was gross but the service was awesome. Everyone is so nice here. I recommend this spot if you’re looking for good Colombian food.
I loved this place starting from the entrance since they are very well organize to manage the dine-in during this pandemic times. When you arrive at the door they’ll ask your name and phone number and call you when they get an available table. I went on Saturday night and I waited 10 minutes. They have parking spots for customers as well for free. The food doesn’t take a lot coming to the table and is delicious and the place is very clean. The seasoning taste very homemade which is one of the thing I loved the most. They have a whole menu of sea food to try if you eat halal Of course I’ll come back!
So my fiancé and I decided to celebrate our anniversary by eating at Mario’s. We had gone here before a couple of years ago. I loved it but unfortunately, after going today, I will not be going back. The waitress took a very long time with our orders. They forgot to give my fiancé his fountain drink, after we had our appetizer and ordered our entree. He asked for hot sauce and gave him something not spicy. We asked for boxes to go, and we waited approximately 45 minutes for them. Meanwhile the waitress was leaning against the wall, chatting with her coworkers and eating. When my fiancé stood up to ask another waiter for the boxes, then she showed up and admitted she forgot. The waitress also never checked up on us if we needed refills or anything else. For the price of the food, i expected better service. Sad but true
Delicious food, well priced. Friendly service. Our only qualm was with the beverages, I had a blueberry mojito but all I could taste was the lime rinds inside and my grandparents also found their lemonade too sour. But my aunt had the pina colada and really enjoyed it. Overall lovely experience and will be returning soon.
Large portions, delicious and flavorful menu choices. Nice retro ambiance. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. This is my go-to spot for a good meal anytime that never disappoints....the cheesecake was rather crumbly and hard. I usually get the flan but opted for the cheesecake instead. They took the guitar off of the wall and sang Happy Birthday to my daughter on her Birthday.
I thought the restaurant was. Going to be good I had high expectations cause outside looks nice but I was WRONG. The interior was ugly the food was super nasty instant mashed potatoes everything was SALT SALT AND MORE SALTY the can of coke was 3.50 lmao NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I COME HERE AGAIN. If YOU WANT REAL COLUMBIAN OR HISPANIC FOOD THEN TAKE A RIDE TO JACKSON HEIGHTS
The waiter was great & very attentive & fast. The food is what's making me give it a 4 star. The arepita was hard & the avocado was a bit black. The chicharron had a weird smell to it but was fried pretty good.
