Staff was really polite and nice. The fries were good and had a large variety of sauces. My family decided to get a large order and 3 sauces samurai ketchup, cheddar cheese and frittes mayo. The fries were a little underwhelming, but would still recommend folks to try them and sample taste the sauces. The tables were cool since you could put your fries in the hole and snack easily.

Located close to Washington sq Park, this fries place is famous locally and finally ticked off the list after 5 years. The place has a rustic ambiance while the vibes are perfect for the nearby NYU students I ordered truffle fries with mushroom sauce. I went for the mini size but it was good enough for 2 people. The fries were really long and thick and way different than I ever had. The staff was happy to have me try some of the sauces before choosing one. The fries are topped with Parmesan cheese whereas took the sauce on side. I really loved the mushroom sauce as I thought it was unique. Overall a great experience!
Fantastic! I got truffle fries with samurai sauce. It was a perfect choice of sauce since the fries come with parmesan cheese on it. I got ketchup and mustard before tasting the sauce and never touched it. I would come back if I m nearby. I wish they have more selections for draft beer.Food: 5/5
The frites or French fries were VERY tasty and perfectly crisp. They go a long way and are very filling. The sauces on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. While they are indeed fairly good, they were underwhelming. They didn't feel like anything you couldn't whip up yourself and often you couldn't taste some of the ingredients they were supposed to have in them. They also were overly expensive for how much you get and their quality. The atmosphere was fun but cramped, dark, and not the most comfortable. It definitely feels like being wedged into an underground wooden keg style room. Lots of dark wood. The service is simply counter service which isn't anything special. An enjoyable experience but honestly I wouldn't come back a second time.
Their fries are to die for! I loved the fries by itself. The sauces take them to the next level. I was skeptical at first to try out a place that sells only fries. But boy, was I wrong! I am so glad I tried it! You should definitely give them a try!Food: 5/5
Great quality for the price! Definitely take this over bel-fries which is near the area. The service is better, endless options, and amazing value for the price. They come extremely hot, so you know it's fresh! We got the regular poutine, and it was more than enough for the two of us! The space is tiny, but cute. It gives the feel that you're in Europe - which I love! Truly a dark academia, medieval vibe/aesthetic! If I do have the time to visit next time, going to give the different sauces a try!
