I swam at the aquatic center for several years during my time in Pompano Beach. The staff was always super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The pool facility is well kept for lap swimming. I didn't use the shower facilities much so cannot comment on those. If you want to swim laps, it's a premier location. They rotate between 50 meter lanes and 25 meter. With 25 meter, there are more lanes. At times it was difficult to find a lane when it was roped off for 50-meters. They also isolated a few lanes for lap swimming in the smaller pool. On selected weekends, they have swim meets so make sure to check the schedule. Beautiful location. Outdoors swim year round. Heated to right temps in the winter.

The pool is a great place for a workout almost any time of day.  Swim Team is in the 100m pool from 4:30 to 6, but they save two lanes for open swim.  Warm pool which is the small pool is usually about 82, larger pool is anywhere from 78 to 80 depending on the time of year.  During the winter, college teams come down to train which is fun to watch and fun to be in the pool with Div. 1 athletes, even if my glory days are over:)  Great facility.

Started swimming here. It's a great place to exercise and and completely inexpensive for such Perfect pool conditions
