Very good rare dance music tunes on weekdays, small dance floor, diverse crowds compared to surrounding generic meatmarket gay bars. Regardless the over the top sexually explicit design, the uniting factor for most folks in there is music and not hook ups. I would give it 5 stars, if it wasn't for the restrooms. They have a filthy smell. The graffiti design is cool, but the smell of urine is overwhelming. On a busy night it's so bad that you can smell it even if you just stand near them. Some fix in the ventilation system inside the restrooms is a must. Again, really edgy music and big patio with an awesome fireplace but no smoking there. I would rather inhale cigarette smoke than a smell of urine inside haha, seriously. But it's Seattle with all it's weird regulations, so what can you do... A cleaning guy with yells get the F out when it gets close to 2 am sometimes. Pony is NOT known for rowdy crowds, so I don't know what's up with that. This place is still a better choice for the artistic types of people, especially those who are into early electronic jams. Overall its a comfortable hang out even if you come alone, no matter if you are a male, female, or trans. And there is no cover charge...Good healthy diversity of people in there.

Awesome service and friendly staff. Not to mention some of the best drinks in town. Gotta love the outdoor fire pit along with being one of the few bars with a patio and a view on Cap. Hill..

I just wanted to write to you about our experience at Pony on 3/14. Two of us visiting from out of state and heard Pony was an interesting bar - which we both liked the atmosphere. However, the bartenders that night were not the nicest group of guys and seemed to have cared less if we were there while leaving us waiting during their personal conversation. I’m not writing about your atmosphere or the drinks - it was the lack of caring by the bartenders that night. I wouldn't waste my time visiting again.

Love it! Seventies man porn wallpaper, dangling paper mache penises, go go dancers, great corner view overlooking Capitol Hill, fun and inclusive place.

The "Manager" Ben Gayz? really? left horrible reveviews of other venues and I for one do not belive his story of events. The clubs should be on some level civil yeah you are pulling from the same Pool but there is plenty of people in the community to support All the clubs His Manner Online was Abusive, abrasive, condisending I would not feel safe going to this venue Now NOR would I suggest it to any of my friends.
