This little hole in the wall is definitely the best place in Platte City for bar food and reasonably priced drinks. A surprisingly creative food menu with lots of great appetizers and entrees. Everything is cooked right behind the bar, so you can watch your food being prepared. I've been there when they had live music, and that was cool too. Smoking is allowed, so be aware of that, but it has never been overwhelmingly smokey when I've been there, I assume they have smoke-eaters or good ventilation. If you ask nicely they'll give you a take-out menu ;)

The food was good, the beer selection could use some work but there are a few Boulevard brews in bottles. The staff was incredibly friendly and sent us off with souvenirs when we mentioned that were from out of town.

 best bar I've ever been at! Karaoke on Saturday is the best around! Plenty off fun talented singers.
