Mosquitos were as thick as I've ever experienced. We left diamond lake because of them but they were worse here, all day and night. It seems if you want to experience camping at a lake you must be prepared With all precautions available to ward them away. Toilets were disgusting. I'm not a stranger to vault toilets but these had not been cleaned for a very long time and were full of flies. The lake itself is a   BEAUTY!  Unfortunately, covered in green and brown algae. We swam anyway and were covered with it when we got out. There is plenty to
Do here. Trails for hiking, biking, they have boat, canoe, and paddle boat rentals. A small store with necessities such as bug spray and a hot meal. We left a day early but If it weren't for the algae might have tuffed it out.

Mosquitos will eat you alive at dusk.  Hide until they're gone like all the animals do lol.  Depending on the the snow fall and time of year they can be bad.  Make sure you have lots of repellent. If you run out the Lemola resort has a general store, you can also fill propane tanks there.  Overall beautiful area just be prepared for the mosquitoes.

Love it! Nice little inlet for docking your boat, swimming, fishing and camping right on the water. Oh and a couple of sandy beaches.

The lake is beautiful and it's a quiet campground with plenty to do. However as an older person I would appreciate a sandy beach and a few trails from the upper area to the lake instead of having to walk all around to get there. Otherwise it would get a 5 star.
