Great fast food option in the drum-hill area. As with most fast food locations, quality varies and but is usually decent. Spicy chicken tenders are Indoor dining is still not open as of May 2022.
Not only is only the drive thru only open, but the service is slower than slow, they’re always out of SOMETHING… and they are rude to customers. Sorry I know what I am saying when I order and I’m clear as day explaining what I wanted substituted because like said above always out of something!! So I was yelled at because she couldn’t understand. I was easy talking and slow so she would understand so she yelled. I’m sorry I work in fast food and I certainly know better . I like the food but this store personally SUCKS and I’m sorry to say it. It USED TO BE GREAT YEARS AGO. Now it may as well close down. Sad.
I love Popeyes, it is one of the only fast food places I go to. Chicken is good, i always get the spicey. This time it was not quite as spicy as usual. This particular Popeyes has always seemed to have issues. They were out of coke, happens a lot. The place still does not allow customers inside, drive thru only. Seems like new employees every time. They are always out of something, sauces, soda, honey, it seems like something almost every time. Food is usually still good, but service is always questionable.
The service is horrible and always takes them close to 5-10mins to compete your order after you waited several long minutes for them to even acknowledge you there. Even ordering online, they won't prepare your food till you get there and you still have to wait behind a line of people. Not to mention how they often "forget" or don't let you know that they are out of biscuits or a side and either don't give it to you or give you something completely different. The worst service in a fast food chain but the food is amazing when you actually get the chance to order and take it home. Don't even bother with the drive through, they only take one person at a time. They will take the order and have you waiting till the car infront of you has received their order and already left from the pickup window to take the next order. Slowest service ever. It's been a couple years since there's been decent service there. I'm not sure what happened but they fell off the scale of fast service.
Gotta say chicken are good. I bought 12 piece family meal, 3 chicken tender and a chicken sandwich. I ask for sweet hot sauce and was given 2 small dips. I asked for 2 more and Rae the employee said I have to charge you for it. I just bought a lot of food and got 2 dipping sauce. What a joke. Never going back... Now they forgot to give me my chicken sandwich. SMH
I don't know what has happened to this location over the last couple of months but I won't be coming here again. My go to is always the blackened tenders after I leave the gym and they never have them or tell me it will take 20 minutes to make them. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, or what day of the week. Their brand new blackened chicken sandwich is also never available and they tell me the same thing as with the tenders. I don't know if it's a laziness issue or a supply issue, but I find it interesting that it's the only Popeyes nearby that has this problem.
Ordered mobile pickup. I was 20 minutes late past my pick up time due to traffic on the way home to pick it up, so figured it would have to be ready. I went to go in to pick up, but the doors were locked, drive thru only. One of the workers was waving me to wait in the drive thru, that had about 15 cars. I'm not waiting 30 minutes for my order that can be walked out to me in two seconds. So I physically walked to the pick up window instead of waiting to explain, and my food apparently wasn't even ready at that point, so wanted 5 minutes at the window for my food. Last time going here, poorly managed, slow service.
Went to the drive thru. No one responded for ten mins. Then I pulled up to the window to ask if they're open even though they were clearly open, the employee was very rude and arrogant. I pulled up to the drive thru again and ordered. He had a very hard time understanding the order and putting it in the system. The chicken was cold, rubber and tasted like it's two days old. Safe to say I am not coming to this Popeyes again.
Unfortunately, the sandwich looks nothing like the picture. The bun is small but the chicken doesn’t take up 1/2 the bun! Smallest most disappointing chicken sandwich I’ve had in years, and I’m really not picky.
Ordered a 16 piece tender family meal and was supposed to get 3 sides with it. Had to come back after getting home because I didn't get any of them. Gave me 1 mashed potatoe out of the 3 and alot of attitude saying I'm lucky she gave me that. Horribly poor customer service. Will got to KFC from now on for my fried chicken.
