I have one question! WTH is this? They considered this little slither a whole wing and counted it as one in the order of 6! To top it off the food was cold! I live less than 5 minutes away from this location!Food: 1/5
Always a good meal but sometimes NOT just at this location but all the chicken has an oil flavor. Like KFC has a spice flavor and Popeyes has an oil flavor TO ME. I still really enjoy it because that can be covered with sauce. And at this location the staff is always so nice and friendly. Answered my random questions .Food: 4/5
Second time ordering delivery from this location and twice has been spot on. I can’t say the spicy chicken sandwich is worth waiting in line for, but was pretty good, especially when delivered by Grubhub. That was my last order, so I will get to this one. GH was offering a $10 promo with free delivery, so why not. I wasn’t ready for fried chicken the day of the promo, so I scheduled for lunch the next day pro tip and news to me, but I tried it and it worked!. Ordered for next day around 12:15 and order arrived around 12:05 which was perfect. I thought I needed the buffer from meetings, but it ended on time and I was hungry. Delivery driver followed drop off instructions and even let me know he was running early via chat. 5 stars. As for the food, it was hot and fresh! Three piece spicy chicken with mash potato and gravy was spot on. Nice and crunchy outer layer and moist tender inside. 5 piece tenders with mash potato and gravy also had huge pieces and was moist and tender inside with crunchy skin/batter out. There was one smallish piece at the bottom but wasn’t a big deal. I did try and order 3 spicy and 2 mild, but they all tasted the same. Not sure if it’s an app issue or human error, but nothing a little hot sauce can’t fix. 2 piece hot honey chicken with red beans and rice. I really didn’t know what it was or what made it different but it seemed to be on special and I was curious. Well, it’s just 2 regular pieces of chicken with some honey sauce drizzled on top from what I can tell. It was $6 compared to almost $8 for a regular 2 piece meal, so worth the gamble and thought the honey sauce was pretty good. It had the option of ordering with a side sauce that was missing, but no big deal here either as I didn’t like the sauces that came with the tenders meal. Would have liked to try a 3rd, but not a deal breaker. I will order from this location again!
Best location I've ever tried! We drive all the way from DTLA bc the ones closer to us are nowhere near as delicious as here. The customer service is also the best! been a fan of their chicken sandwich for a while now and will continue to come sad they don't have the popcorn shrimp but this other option was ok too.
The strips were hot and fresh just how they should be. My order was correct so nothing to complain about. Overall a good experience.Food: 4/5
Finally found the perfect opportunity to go to Popeye's and try their famous chicken sandwich. Meaning that I initially planned to go to in and out next door but noticed the drive-thru line at the adjacent Popeyes only had three cars lined up which is unheard of over the past six months. Got my food in about 10 minutes after arriving at the Drive-Thru. Boy oh boy was it delicious. You can't beat the price for a chicken that thick. I'll definitely be back for more.
I've ordered from here 3 times in one week because it was so good. I got the $6 Box deal and it's perfect. I just add an extra 50 cents for the Mac and cheese.Food: 5/5
Line was long order was botched but food is quite tasty with a fair price. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and got a classic in my bag. It was still delicious and I'll go back again. The mashed potatoes with cajun gravy was quite tasty. The mac & cheese is just alright. Question I have is "why write the word diet on the lid instead of pushing in the diet button?"
I love Popeyes and the ONLY reason I still go despite that they rarely get my order correct. Parking: Constant traffic makes it difficult to pull in.
I love popeyes and I'm glad that now theres one in Azusa. The food is great. I always get the spicy strips and biscuits. Their sweet tea is awesome. The only drawback at this location is parking but there is a drive thru. Right across the street from APU.
