Great place to eat! Good food, friendly staff. If you want a meal that tastes like a home cooked meal, like your mother made, then go here! You won't be disappointed with anything you pick off the menu!

Went there at lunch time not packed at all, not impressed with the staff and their appearance.  The cook came out and informed us they were out of the first thing we ordered. The place was hot no cool air they had fans set out. Food came out quickly and tasted pretty good. However the table and floor had ants everywhere, which made me wonder what kind of other bug problems they have. The waitress apologized and our meal that we didnt finish after seeing the ants was free. No manager around so we just left. Probably wont return.

This is a cute hole in the wall place that has some amazing breakfast. Staff was cordial. Definitely go back for some more breakfast.

Ate lunch there today.  Gumbo was fantastic.  Fried catfish and shrimp were very good.  Service was a little slow, but they cooked everything fresh. The waitress was great. The salad was bad.

Ordered the "Downtown" sandwich.   Most of the sandwiches are named after local colleges.  They have seafood.. pasta..  appetizers..  Southern Food.
