The owner/manager and his employees alike are welcoming, appreciative, and genuinely friendly to customers of all ilk... regardless if the customer is fanatically dedicated or, to the contrary, casually perusing at infrequent times. The Port City Comics staff are NOT pretentious or patronizing towards anyone, and, in all honesty, this is profoundly important to me personally since I have found that there have been niche retail stores in the past (not exclusively centered around comic books and not exclusively in the Mobile area) that has talked down to or utterly ignored myself and others who take a more casual approach to shopping.

Nice little comic shop. Good selection of new comics and back-issues. Friendly owner and staff. Check their Facebook page for special events and sales.
