Story

A healthy pet is a happy pet. That is our mantra at Portage Park Animal Hospital & Dental Clinic. We understand that your pets are your family. Just like people, they can be vulnerable to sickness and health problems. That is why we offer regular health examinations, vaccination, parasite prevention, and full dental care for your pets. Our state-of-the-art services also include laser surgery and laboratory services, so you can have all the lab results at one convenient location.

Dental care has long proved to be hard to administer for feisty dogs and cats. Their oral health is susceptible to the same diseases that humans have. That can mean cavities, gingivitis, and other painful conditions that make eating harder. We have a complete dental care package that includes cleaning, polishing, tooth restoration and extraction, radiography, and oral surgery. If you're worried about your pet being under anesthesia during cleanings, we now offer anesthesia-free dental care for dogs and cats.

Because we have an in-house laboratory, you can get your pet's lab results accurately and immediately. This spares you from nervously waiting for the news of your pet's health. For pathology or specialty tests, we make referrals to outside facilities to get the results back in one day.
