Worst experience ever. ER doc was in a hurry to go home on time my husband was in a car accident. Long story short x-rays showed glass still in his arm, she took 2 x-rays swore "she got all the glass out". Now nearly a month later his doc is sending him to a orthopedic surgeon to have the arm looked at from the glass still in it. The same glass the doc said she got out. Worst ever doctor!

We received a bill but it wasn't itemized. Since I pay for my insurance and I pay for my husband and I I want an itemized statement so I can verify the services (because we ALL they over charge). When I called Billing they won't send me a statement because it's my husbands and because of HEPA they won't do it for me. Even though I'm the one who pays for it. Are they afraid SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING TO PAY MY BILL??? Because that would be a GREAT!!! I just want to know what I'm being charged for before "I" can pay it before you send "us" to collections. It's "My" insurance, "I" pay for it and "I" pay the bill!!! So send me the bill. To the address you have on file!!! It's the same!!! Or go ahead and take me to court you bastards... I'll let the judge know!!! What a scam!!!

Worked my infant daughter's foot over so hard 
getting bloodwork that the bandaid pulled all of the skin on her heel off...after 2 hours in an empty waiting room. Worth the extra drive to go to the valpo location in the future.

We were new to the area when my husband was bitten by a brown recluse spider. He was extremely ill when I brought him in to the ER here.  They treated him quickly and thoroughly and before I knew it, an ambulance was there and he was brought to Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso.  He was in the ICU for several days. Fast forward two years and he is having a massive heart attack.  They stabilized him and transferred him immediately.  The staff was courteous, informative and empathetic.  For such a small place they are equipped to stabilize a patient and transfer him to the larger Porter Regional Hospital.  This facility saved my husband's life twice in three years.  We are extremely grateful for the expedient and professional care my husband received and we would not hesitate to return to this facility in case of an emergency illness.

Thanks Dr. Bush and Portage Medical group for a great experience. This was my first time to the doctors office since I can remember. My visit was painless and I am glad I found a family doctor.
