Walked in to open a checking account. Wanted to charge me 50$ and a do a hard credit check just to open the account. Last time I checked it was a CREDIT UNION and not a bank, but damn they sure seem to operate like one. Then the clerk proceeded to give me a 15 minute lecture because I didn't contribute to my companies trash 403(b) retirement plan. They also tried very high pressure sales tactics to convince me to transfer my loan from my current institution to them. A joke of a credit union all around. Huzzah for River Valley Credit Union of Lowell! Friendly staff, low loan rates, no nonsense, no hidden fee garbage like these jokers.

Thought this type of bank was supposed to help people an take care of there customer's was good to me in til my car got totold an as im waiting for my gap to take over an they already have more than half of the $15.000 loan paid off.they no there going to get all of it from gab they still want me to pay them for a car i don't even have they continue to keep docking my credit score so if you don't want this to happen to you i recommend you stay away from this bank
