The temple grounds are breath taking.  The serenity among the trees carries you away from the hustle of the city.  And the friendliness of those who serve in the temple is unsurpassed.  Our time in the temple was highlight of our trip to Portland.

Beautiful, peaceful place. You can feel a distinct change as soon as you set foot on the temple grounds. I love to visit and feel the calming atmosphere of the place that has been set aside from all of the trials and cares of the world to stand as the holy house of God.

Peaceful, quiet, beautiful. If you don't hold an LDS temple recommend, the visitors center is open every day.
