This little cabin is a perfect place to retreat from life. SUP or canoe from the deck, watch the geese and ducks swim by with their babies, lounge on the deck wrapped in a blanket sipping tea. It's a little paradise so close to the city but a world away. Stay here.

We stayed on the smallest houseboat for five nights in 2016 and it was very laid-back. One of my favorite vacations ever. Great swimming off the back porch and walking distance to a beer garden. Spent our days swimming and grilling. Only downside is that trains run about a hundred feet away. I'm a deep sleeper and it didn't bother me but you would benefit from bringing earplugs if it's a concern for you.

When we got there the Hot Tub was turned off and we were told that it wouldn't be warm enough to use until the next day. They advertised the hot tub and one would think they would have it ready for guests. The controls to the hot tub were hidden and no instructions were available. I got the distinct impression that the owners didn't want us to use the hot tub. In addition to the noisy, busy train tracks less than 100 yards away, there is a beautiful sewage treatment plant on the other side of the river. It was not a pleasant site. We were also told that there was a fire pit and firewood. We had to ask for firewood, and we were told we would have to hall it down to the boat from the parking area. The fire pit was another one of those features that made us choose this spot, but we got the distinct impression that the owners didn't really want us using it. Over all, I would say skip this one and spend an extra 10 minutes surfing to find something worth what they are charging.
