Our doctors are Board-certified pediatric specialists who offer both primary and specialty care for infants, children and adolescents, including those with special health care needs. Providing care since 2001, the practice serves the children of the Kitsap Peninsula including the cities of Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, Kingston, Poulsbo, Port Angeles, Sequim, Silverdale and Suquamish.

Dr. Self and her experienced friendly team love children and are trained to help them overcome dental apprehension and gently work to develop a positive attitude about oral hygiene and dental visits. Our focus on compassion and safety combines with the latest technology in a child-friendly environment to ensure patients receive the highest quality service and exceptional care. Wouldn't go anywhere else after our first experience here the other day. From start to finish, this practice is all about KIDS, making it as fun as possible, listening to them, being respectful that they are people too, and taking good care of them. It's just so set up for kiddos and the staff are wonderful, patient, caring. It was our 2-year olds first appt and the hygienist was so patient with our less-than-interested-in-opening-her-mouth-kiddo!

I was in and out in a matter of 20 minutes. The actual procedure was only 2 minutes, and all of the staff was very kind and professional. I felt completely informed about every step of the procedure that was taking place. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to do this procedure on my 3 week old, Dr. Self is amazing.

I literally wanted to hug my daughters hygienist after our appointment. We were seeing another dentist for my daughter when she got her first cavities. It was all handled pretty terribly and she experienced a bit of trauma. Every dentist visit was becoming dreaded for us both. We had been to Poulsbo children's a few years back and I was reluctant to try again but was willing after reviews I'd heard of dr self. Dr Self was kind and patient and treated us with such gentleness. I was blown away by the drastic difference in care that had my fearful daughter happy as could be. Also, movies playing on tvs above each chair. Enough said. Thank you Dr Self and staff!!!!

My kids rush over to hug Dr. Self when they come in. They giggle and joke with the staff. This is a warm, friendly, and professional place. The kids feel at home and get great dental care.

Just moved here about 6 months ago and was referred by my pediatrician and several other parents. The office is great and the staff were all helpful and kind. They were extremely patient with my kids who are almost 2 and almost 5 who were a little apprehensive. Dr Self was very knowledgeable and conservative and made the kids feel at ease and even laugh! As someone who works in the dental field I could tell the dr and staff at this office are doing things right!
