A rare and special find, Dr. Powell creates the full experience of exquisite customer care, the best in orthodontic treatment, and a delightful office visit all in one. We cannot say enough about his sense of presence with patients, his clear explanations of treatment procedures, and his absolutely gorgeous, state-of-the-art facility. From first walking into the main lobby, being guided by the very friendly and efficient front desk staff to the treatment area, and the check-out... it's all like Disney World meets an assembly line. Who would think it could be fun to see the orthodontist? Our daughter looked forward to every single appointment. She is an on-camera actor. Her teeth are paramount in her ability to book a job. Now that she has completed her treatment and her teeth look near perfect, we're confident her career will see a bright and shining future as she continues to proudly smile into the lens. I highly recommend Dr. Powell over any other orthodontist in West Michigan. He is skilled in working with all age groups and with a variety of orthodontic needs. We'll miss seeing him as our daughter's care is now complete. Thanks so much Doc. You have no idea what a gift it has been to work with you. We credit you for her beautiful smile. And for our smiles too.

Expectation at visits did not match services provided. I highly recommend to ASK Questions & get Verification of what will be expected to occur at each visit before scheduling each visit. The staff and both Orthodontists very friendly. Re-designed office with what appears to be up-dated technology. Clients (younger and older) appear to pleased. With 2 consecutive visits for EACH of my 2 children we were told/or office staff responded that we should expect both assessment and treatment but only assessment occurred during the first 2 "official" visits. In planning for when our children would get spacers & braces we ran into "snags". We attempted to schedule for spacers & braces when it would be between athletic seasons/early in seasons, reduce the amount of school missed, and allow for scheduling ahead of time for the clinic. This did not occur. When I brought my concerns to 3 different office staff (one possibly being the office manager) & the clinical staff member performing the oral imaging (not the Orthodontists), I received an apology from one of them, was blown off by another as "well, this is the way we are doing it now", and the last office personnel referred me to the letter that I may or may not have received during one of the initial visit stated that after the first/initial visit; " If you decide on treatment, you will need to return for diagnostic records. This appointment will include one facial X-ray, photographs, and study models. Following the records appointment you will be scheduled to have our braces on or functional appliance delivered. Sometimes a separate appointment is needed for spacers prior to having the braces placed on." Please note, when my wife and I, at separate occasions, talked to the staff to schedule the appointments, the staff person confirmed that the records & spacer application would occur at the same visit, and this we scheduled the visit where we did. I hope that this feedback is used by the office staff to better communication between each other and their clientele. Yes, we did receive a letter indicating the flow of the process but the staff communicated something different and did not correct our understanding of what would occur at each visit.

I have never been to a dentist office where I did not have to wait more than 2 minutes to be seen and 15 minutes for the whole process to be over with. The staff here are very friendly, helpful and fast. Even the emergency aftercare is great. My son has been going to Dr. Powell for a little over 2 years now and he also loves the experience. Now I can say they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Oh and let me not forget there is a payment plan set up even for people with bad credit. Everyone is treated equally with the financial part. I would refer anyone to the Powells'.

To the person who said that the great reviews on here are fake, well, you are wrong, cause these are not fake. We have had five of out six kids in braces through this office and they have been wonderful and have done an excellant job. My kids teeth look awesome! and I had three in braces at once and they set up a payment plan that worked grear for us.

The BEST staff I have ever encountered. Dr. Powell is amazingly talented. They are very professionally, personable, compassionate, very affordable and offer a detailed payment plan that is very accommodating. I would recommend this orthodontist office to everyone. Very family friendly as well with their advanced technology. My daughter was very nervous going into this process and everyone was very considerate in making her feel comfortable with all of the treatment. The office is always on time and very efficient in accommodating our very busy schedule. Thank you again for everything you do Dr. Powell and Staff. The Kenny's
