My family loves going here. Such a beautiful quiet place. Lots of amenities.

the owner and staff were extremely rude to not only us but our kids. for one we were told we had to get out of the swimming area for getting on the water slides, and told our kids that we didn't pay for the water activities when we paid for the day pass which included the water area. then the bathrooms were so nasty and out of toilet paper and feces all over the mens bathroom, when we asked for toilet paper they told us they will not put it in there cause people destroyed it. very nasty and rude place.

Super disappointed in the customer service! I called to reserve a spot for 7 days and upon arrival we had found out that we needed to be some where else. Not even 24 hours later when I paid for our site I had kindly asked to change the reservation to leave 2 days earlier than expected. The man behind the counter smirked and informed me I can leave when ever but I have to pay for the full 7 days because if I needed to cancel I would have to call 7 days in advanced. The best part of this is, I was NEVER informed of this rule and when I grabbed the RULES sheet it doesn't state on there anywhere of this nonsense. ***Beware*** they may make up rules to their advantage. There are plenty of other nicer campgrounds around the lake. I wouldn't waste my time or money at this one.

Went to eat at their restaurant. We were seated and given our drinks in a timely manor. As our food was coming out i noticed our waiter pulling a hair out of my food. She proceeded to laugh while bringing our food out to our table. Guess she thought we did not see what she did. We won't be returning.

This place was by far the worst experience we had ever had on a camping trip. It was suppose to be for mine and my husbands seventeen year anniversary and my oldest sons fourteenth birthday. When we checked in we were charged $20 dollars per night for camping in a tent. Also, which is something that's not stated on their website, they charge $5 dollars a day per person to play on their aqua toys. On top of that if you don't have a life jacket you can rent one for an additional $5 dollars but if it's turned in they give you $2 dollars back. The catcher there is to be sure and turn it in that same day because they don't tell you to do that, they leave it up to you to read the signs in the back where they take you to give you the life jacket. They are very rude people, they could care less whether your stay there is liked or not. They charge .50 cents to shower when you're camping in a tent and there bathrooms are disgusting. But the way, that .50 cents will be taken by the quarter dispenser and will not work when all is said and done and you will not get your money back either. We ended up checking out a day early because the stay was so miserable and we were so unhappy with everything. When I went to check out I ask if I would get the $20 dollars back. They lady rudely said "No, we could have filled that spot." I said ma'am there are only two other families camping over there all the other places are not filled. She then replied that it wasn't her problem and that it was a holiday weekend so I would not be getting anything back. I then ask about the $2 dollars for returning the life jacket and she said no ma'am, those are one day rentals and it should have been returned yesterday. I said you didn't tell me that yesterday. She then told me that the signs were on the walls in the back where the jackets were. The only good thing out of the trip is that we made it enjoyable for our children and spent time as a family. I would not and do not recommend this for anyone. After I walked out the door there was a lady sent on a golfcart to come make sure we were packing up to leave. This place is such a beautiful place and it is very sad that it's in the hands of people who obviously lack knowledge in true customer service. The store is outrageously overpriced. We made memories but we will never ever go back there EVER again.
