I have used Powell's for my childcare center repairs for the past seven years. I have always had great customer service with him and the other guys that have come out for service repairs.

Great service! Amanda was very professional and helpful on the phone. She answered all my questions patiently as this was my first experience with getting propane set up for our house. They were able to deliver the next day! Super! And Ethan the technician was very professional and knowledgeable also. He did excellent work and I was very impressed! :D First snow today and thanks to Powells we got to have a fire in our gas fireplace for the first time since we moved here. May the Lord Jesus bless your business! keep up the great customer service. :)

Went in to get propane tank refilled and the lady at the back desk was very rude. This is the second time she has been very rude to customers. The first time I thought she was just having a bad day and just let it go. Today she was up to the same routine of being rude to customers and when challenged about her customer service and poor attitude towards helping people, she just raises her voice thinking that being louder is the same as being right. Today they just lost a loyal customer and probably more when others read my review and the other reviews about poor customer service. There are plenty of other places in the area to get propane and appliances, so I'm not sure why they are driving away customers.

Bad experience! Receptionist got my order wrong by sending a 100 gal lp tank to swap. When I told the driver she made a mistake, he said he was going back to get the refill truck and never came back. Apparently he went and told the receptionist, who is his wife, that I bad mouthed her, so when I called the next day to get the order straight, she refused me service. Then after checking with the boss, she said they would put me on the route but it would be three weeks before they could come.

I found the customer service disappointing. I visited the store and called the store with questions and concerns about a previous purchase. Apparently none of my questions could be answered unless I paid a service fee. I asked to return the purchase for a refund and was told absolutley not. I gave up on Powell 's and went to Home Depot. Even though I had originally made the purchase at Powell's, the associates at Home Depot in Jacksonville were friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. They even expalined what the problem with the product might be and how to fix it, no fee required. From now on I will go to Home Depot to start with.
