I recently spent a lovely morning at Powers Farm Market. We picked pumpkins, fed animals, went on a hayride and were amazing and impressed at the carved pumpkin display in the handmade giant corn huts. We also enjoyed lots of yummy treats including pumpkin donuts ad apple cider. We were there soon after they opened for the day and so we didn't wait in line at all for the hayride. By the time we left around 12:30 pm there were substantially more people waiting in line for the hayride although the line wasn't terrible. This was my toddlers first "haunted hayride." I didn't realize that it was haunted before riding (my bad). Luckily it was mostly skeletons doing fun things in the forest like taking a bath, getting married, playing volleyball etc. My toddlers loved it. My littlest one (2) did get scared for a little while at the very end when you go in a barn and the lights turn off, but she was mesmerized by all of the light up pumpkins that turned on right after this. If you're scared of giant fake spiders I would avoid this hayride... If it's at all wet outside I would wear your rain boots as there is the potential for some serious mud. The pumpkins weren't the cheapest in all the land as the larger pumpkins could be a bit pricier, but small pumpkins are a great value at 1 to 2 dollars per small pumpkin or gourd. And I imagine you are paying more to support the entire amazing operation including the animals, so I am fine with this. There is a large parking lot that is not paved (wear your rain boots) but I would still consider coming early to avoid the crowd. There is also a wonderful area that s decorated to look like a pumpkin clad stylized front porch to take cute pictures on. Have a happy fall!

Delicious donuts! (Best white cream filled we've had anywhere!) Cider and baked goods plus apples and cute gifts. The best part of a trip to powers is not in the store though. Go outside and feed the sheep out of your hand! :)

This place is small and simple. BUT it's clean, kid friendly and the staff are so nice. You can go on hayrides, get pumpkins and feed animals. Also they have a store which sells baked goods (which are delicious) And also fruit and veggies. Overall my family enjoyed Powers.

My all time favorite place to go for Halloween. We have been going here as a family since 1997. The teepees are amazing and they have nighttime hayrides that are family friendly. For the littler kids they have day time hayrides. This is a must do for our family. We also go during other times in the year for produce and for the kids to feed the animals. Best place for fall fun. They also have a walk through light display ending with a live nativity for Christmas. They sell trees and holiday treats at that time. It is a family run business. I can not say enough good things about this place.

Very unique farmer's market. Tons of activities available outside - HUGE pumpkin patch, hayrides, farm animals and of course, the tee-pees. Inside, they have an array of fresh produce, fresh baked bread, jellies, jams, sauces - pretty much everything you would want or need. High quality products. Lovely staff. Highly recommend! **Great for kids!
