Very nice arena! PPG Paints (formerly Console Energy Center) is where the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team plays. Going to hockey games is an awesome experience in the city of Pittsburgh. The Steel City is certainly one of the major sports towns in all of the country and is truly a marvel to behold. The only major problem I have with coming to the arena is dealing with parking. There is a parking garage attached to the arena itself and is the most convenient, however, it costs roughly $32 to park in it during hockey games. There is a lot across the street (not a garage) and costs $26. However, coming to the arena for other events may differ in price. The cheapest I've paid for parking there was $20. Keep that in mind and make sure you have cash as some lots nearby do not accept cards. All in all, the arena itself is very nice and easy to navigate. Honestly, there isn't a bad seat in the house no matter what event you are here for.

First time at the PPG for a hockey game. Great environment created by the Pittsburgh fans. Easy access in the downtown area to get to. Stayed at a local hotel and was able to walk to the game. Disappointed with the selection of restaurants in the area as there were very few options before the game to have a bite to eat. Pricing inside the arena for food and alcohol was typical to most arenas. Had a great time.

I actually worked at this arena for 4 years. Beautiful location, up to standard. It's like any other arena in the nation, you will pay for the food, but that's to be expected. Great plethora of national touring acts in sports events like flag football and hockey. The seats are comfortable, and I will have ever sat in the arena I always could see very well. It gets kind of scary when you're sitting up in the 200 section, but if you can deal with that you'll be perfectly fine. Depending on the events bathrooms are generally always (Penguins games can be an exception).

Very cool arena! Had tickets in the upper section and still had a good view of the game. Primanti Bros was fast, decently priced and good even with the limited menu. Beer was expensive but that's pretty much at any venue. Facility was clean and restrooms were nicely laid out. GO PENS!

I finally saw my first Penguins game at PPG Paints Arena. GREAT venue. Plenty of parking available. Expect to pay around $20 at the arena although I'm sure cheaper can be found within walking distance. Easy entrance to and exit from the building. The staff were very helpful in getting us to our seats and treated us like royalty on the II-VI Media Deck. GREAT view and GREAT win against the Capitals 7-4!
