I was placed there a few months ago for therapy after hip surgery. It was so terrible, that I left the next day! Basically I was neglected and abused! They insisted that I couldn't bring in my own meds. Instead they said they had to order them from their " special" place, which turned out to be a Walgreens! Some pf my meds weren't even filled! Finally my brother ended up bringing them from home anyway! Around dawn I needed to use the bathroom. I was still very groggy from the surgery. The bed rails were not put up, I got out of bed, and fell down right on my hip! I screamed for help and was lifted from the floor. The RN then storms in and asked me if I'm ok and I said "yeah". Then she screamed at me and read me the riot act saying that I should have called them before I fell down! So I screamed back at her! Later that day after having nobody check on me, I laid down. A nurse, I assume, came in with my meal. I asked her if she could please help me sit up. She takes my right leg, lifts it up high, and SLAMS it on the wheelchair that was on the side of the bed! I told her that she hurt me, and she did the exact same thing with my left leg, which is the side of my surgery! I yelled at her and told her off! She says " I'm gonna get my supervisor!" Of course thats exactly what I wanted! Who comes in? The RN who was screaming at me for falling down that morning! She told me that the woman that I accused "would never do such a thing!" Finally I called my brother and told him to get me out of there right away! He came to get me and asked the RN why they didn't get me medical attention when I fell, the RN said because I said I was ok. When I changed into another set of cloths, I noticed blood dripping heavily drom my surgical wound. Oh, they went running then to get fresh bandages! Suddenly they acted so concerned! A few days later I complained to the State and was told that they are doing an investigation against them because of all the complaints they get about them. I then had Alacare come to my home to look after me, and they were surprised that I went to that place and said that if I ever have surgery again and need therapy, that they would help me find a much more professional place for me to go. Apparently many medical professionals have heard about them and would never recommend them! End of story. Keep away from this place!!!! I still have anxiety attacks just thinking about how they treated me!

Incompetent best describes Prattville Health and Rehab. The administration needs to be fired asap the main concern for this location is financial gain they do not care for their residents welfare. The staff from the RNs,CNA's, and other support staff are rude and condescending to the residents and are much to busy to do their jobs and provide care because they are chatting,eating, or talking on the phone. I've had to go up there to change my loved ones diaper because they wouldn't do it. Also, the food they provide is terrible with portions smaller then an infant needs to survive . The cleanliness of the facility is disgusting if you need a place for your loved one please chose another location.

My grandmother was a resident of Prattville Health and Rehab for about a year. During that time, the staff was always helpful and quick to help. She loved the staff and they loved her. They were always kind to our family and were there to comfort us. I do not believe my grandmother ever had a need that was not met by the staff. I do not hesitate when people ask for a nursing home or rehab facility recommendation to send them to Prattville Health and Rehab.

One of the worst rehab facilities I've ever dealt with. They do not care about the individuals that live there. I rarely saw a smile on the nurses face. They went almost eight hours without even stepping in the room to check on my sick father. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to have to stay at this place. Money is their top priority, not the individual person. If you are looking for a rehab facility for yourself or a loved one, get as far away from Prattville Health and Rehabilitation as you can.
