My husband and I wanted to express how pleased we were with the job Preferred Restoration did at our home. Since our house was on the market, when the flooding occurred, we needed a quick but thorough job. This company started the work the very same day that we called and it was completed within 6 days. 

The finished project looked and smelled as if nothing ever happened. It looked even better since the walls were painted (even those not affected by the flood) and the carpet was cleaned.

The workers were very pleasant, dependable and hardworking at every phase of the cleanup and remodel.  Every single one of them showed up when they said and did what they promised.

We would definitely use this company again for any future issues we have, though we hope not to have any.

Robert transformed our rental house from a water damaged disaster back into a cozy ranch home.  The quality of work and the final product are great. The house was left clean and ready to be lived in.  He communicated directly with our insurance company which helped the claims process go smoothly.  Communication was great which was important since we don't live locally.

My experience with this company was very unpleasant. I removed all prior comments just to avoid the additional expense of going to court a second time. In my personal opinion, please be well advised to use extreme caution when utulizing this company.

After receiving a call from my tenants at my home in Kannapolis, I called Robert Guarino, the owner of Preferred Restoration, immediately.  He happened to be driving past my street at the time (coincidence) and was able to stop in right away to examine the problem. From that point on, Robert handled the whole project for me.. everything!  From dealing directly with the adjuster to involving other professionals.  I visited the house only to pick out carpet and linoleum from samples he delivered to the house, so I didn’t even have to shop around.  Again, “this is the most seamless experience I have ever had with a contractor/insurance claim.  Robert completely took the burden off me and my family and I can’t put a value on that!  Thank you so much to Robert and his team at Preferred Restoration, I would recommend Preferred Restoration to all my family and friends!”  (Ron R)
