Truly the best RV Park we have ever stayed at. We were with a Club, had about 10 Rigs in our group. We were there for the Solar Eclipse. They had all kinds of things to do, a BBQ Hot Dog night with live music. Pancake breakfast one day. An entire Park Pot Luck, there was so much good Food, a night we will remember. We'll be back!!

We arrived 10 minutes after the front office closing hour, and the lady was leaving but she helped us anyways. We really appreciate it! The site is classy and clean; with resraurants close by. Just saw one of the neighbours pizza order is delivered to site. Two fenced dog exercise area and a super nice club house has a 4-5 star hotel feeling; very clean with new bathrooms and showers along with a games room. We would have liked to stay longer but short on time; we will be back again!

For starters, I can't believe some of the negative posts people make about this place. They are so contrary to our experience that I have to wonder what really happened to lead them to have such a grudge. Our modest Winnebago is 13 years old, though impeccably maintained, and we never had any questions about the age or condition of our rig. This park is impeccable. Granted, that some of the sites may be little on the small side but they seemed to do a good job of matching the RV to the site. Contrary to what a few mentioned, it was my observation that every site has has a strip of of well maintained grass between it and the adjacent site and there are ample landscaped areas with grass, constantly maintained flowers, shrubs, hedges trees and other plants that create a a homey "outdoors feel". The blooming flowers reminded me of Disneyland, where crews come in and plant fresh blooms in the night, and I'm sure some of that went on while we were there. The whole park, with the exception of the ocean view to the west, is surrounded by a canopy of evergreen trees. We are fastidious about picking up after our dogs and though we always tried to get them to use the great dog runs to do their business, there were of course a few times when they "lifted a leg" or left their business somewhere while en route to the established runs. It happens. We always picked it up almost as soon as it hit the ground and we were never hassled about a little "tinkle". If people don't pick up after their dogs, they deserve to be hassled. The bathrooms, showers, spa, laundry and exercise room are meticulously clean and the office, store and clubhouse/lounge offer great supplies, gifts and amenities. During our stay for the August 2017 solar eclipse, they had events and activities almost every night leading up the day of the eclipse and on the night after. These included Ice Cream Socials, Hot Dog Socials, Happy Hours and a Potluck. There is a beautiful observation deck on the far western edge of the upper level of the park and they had a live band on two of the nights in conjunction with the other events. As others have noted, they had no vacancies when we first called about a site for the eclipse, but they placed us on a waiting list where we were #42. Several weeks before the eclipse they called to tell us that a site had opened up and we canceled other reservations to go there. We don't regret it one bit. Also, and as others noted, they did not "scalp" people on the price of reservations during the eclipse and charged only their normal seasonal rates. The price quoted when were placed on the waiting list was the price we paid for our site. We are amateur astronomers and our site, at the end of a row on the upper level, was perfect for our purposes with ample room for our 31 foot RV, an extra vehicle, and two telescopes and a camera on tracking mounts. During the eclipse, the manager set up a portable propane fire pit in the road in front of our RV so people observing through our telescopes could warm themselves. It was only 52 degrees when the partial eclipse started and it got colder as totality approached. Up and down the roads throughout the park, people setup their lawn chairs in little groups like neighborhoods and the whole place had a festive atmosphere. Yes, there is a bit of a walk from the park to the beach but anyone who did even the most basic of research and due diligence into the area, before making a reservation, would have understood this. Personally, I found the walk to be exhilarating. There is a pedestrian tunnel just north of the park, adjacent to the Indian Head Hotel, which makes for safe crossing of Highway 101 and after a walk about a block, a concrete stairway with 46 steps down to the beach. This is the price you pay of having that gorgeous clifftop view from the deck at the RV park. Everyone we encountered at the park seemed to cheerful and more than satisfied with their stay. We would, and WILL, go back there in the near future.

Pretentious, uptight, rude, and not even nice facilities. And WAY too far from the beach. Go somewhere else unless you're prepared to have your RV picked over with a fine tooth comb. If it's not absolutely perfect, forget about being welcome there. Even nice, but not brand new RV are not welcome here. I'd expect a better place for people with noses that far up in the sky.

Very nice RV resort. Clean and friendly, all spaces are level and paved. Wonderful bathrooms and showers, so bright and clean, same with the laundry facilities. Such a friendly and helpful staff. I would advise all to give them a try.
