This is a hidden gem of a place. The flavors are bold, authentic and the staff are very polite. Don’t expect a fancy restaurant but the food does the talking. Typical comfort Tamilnadu South Indian style food. I tried their Dosa with chettinad chicken curry 5/5 very good. I tired the Chicken Biryani 4/5 the taste and spicy was very good. But a tad bit dry. But the raita and masala complemented it out well.
Hidden gem. Tried paneer Manchurian and ghee dosa- amazing South Indian food. Nostalgic Goat pepper fry. Dine in waiting-bit long. Must try.
Water is served in styrofoam glass. That’s a big no for me. At an Indian restaurant, the least you expect is your water served in a steel glass. Good thing- They are short staffed and wait times are longer. Restaurant acknowledges this fact and has written it on a board at the entrance. As a consumer and first time visitor at this place, the first board helped lessen the anguish for slow service Their prices are higher than what they were in the past. This fact is also acknowledged and is highlighted on a board. This seems like a stretch. No one’s asking for justification, why do you wanna explain yourself for something that’s just common sense. Coming to the food part, Idlis were the best. Vada that we had was super oily, not something you’d expect at a South Indian restaurant. Dosa and chutneys were upto the mark. Overall good food but there’s huge scope for improvement from service standpoint. Waiters were good at communication but please pay them enough so that they can afford to get some nice clothes and haircut for being decently presentable.
The food was delicious I can give 5 for the food mutton biryani was too good . But, the people in the front desk one girlwas very rude. One girl who is serving the food , she is literally throwing the food on the table and not friendly. They mentioned that they increased the prices, but it is too much. In addition to that they charge extra for additional raitha but, they are giving raitha initially was only 2 ozns. That doesn't make any sense.
Their menu is diverse. We ordered Mysore masala dosa, chilli gobhi and chole Bhature. All of them taste amazing. Food is spicy so we ordered 4/5. Don’t miss out on chole bhature! Very yummy
I got paneer Tikka biryani. All paneer pieces are roasted to black and Masala in biryani is made with ginger paste which is not cooked well. Biryani tasted like raw ginger paste.
I and my friends ordered 3 different types of biriyanis one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian. Aside the pieces in it, the rice was same and plain. It was more like a reheated rice from yesterday. We went inside to give our review that we didn’t like it and was not satisfied with it but the owner of that place was so rude to us and she doesn’t care about the customer satisfaction. I don’t know what is more important than a customer satisfaction when running a restaurant. I would strongly not recommend this place for one who is looking for a good biriyani and good hospitality.
Best place for south Indian food varieties!!! Will never get tired to drive from Cincinnati to Dayton to enjoy the chicken biriyani and kothu parotta . Weekend lunch till 3pmFood: 4/5
A very good place to taste authentic Tamilnadu South Indian food. Ordered Goat Briyani, Kothu Parota and Pepper Chicken. All these items were really very good and will definitely visit again
Our all time favorite is Prems Briyani! Their Latest addition is the Tamilnadu famous Parotta and Chicken curry was simply awesome. When ever we plan for Prem's its festive and a pleasure for us. Chef/Owners are always friendly, pleasurable, and delightful. Hospitality is great. As it was a weekend there was no Veg thali however just cos we asked they arranged it in no time and without hesitation. Thanks a ton We Love Prems
