Authentic Southern eats, beef, chicken, pork, lots of options for sides, traditional homemade offerings like fried green beans, okra, etc.
Super friendly staff, selection of cold beers, very reasonable prices.  Located right along the main drag with plenty of free parking.
Did I mention the homemade pies?
Will definitely stop again when we're in the area.

Great steaks and an even better cheeseburger.  Fast service.  Friendly staff.  Locally owned.  Quaint small town downtown goodness.  Cold beer.  Friendly patrons.

The food is good, however the service on Friday nights are less than desirable. Calling in a order the person answering the phone is rude. I personally like the Preston's in Troy, Alabama. The one in Luverne fail to be courteous like the Troy location and to top everything off I found a long strand of hair in my food. I threw my food away and will never come back to this location, ever.
