Dr. Giovanni Elia is a wonderful Doctor. My mother was dying of stage 3 multiple myeloma   She was in so much pain. Dr Elia saw her every week and helped make her as comfortable as she could be. He was very kind to her and to me. She ended up in the hospital on Thanksgiving day 2014. That's when they told me she had only a couple weeks left. Dr. Elia came to the hospital on thanksgiving to see her but mostly to tell me how sorry he was. I will forever be grateful for that. He had no other patients to see at the hospital and my mother didn't really know what was going on but for him to go out of his way to see us was what only a wonderful caring doctor would do.
