Story

To the friends who know us, we renew our welcome; to the stranger we extend it most sincerely. If you are a new or long time resident of the area looking for a Church home or would like to join us to learn more, please accept this invitation to join us for Saturday night or Sunday morning service, Sunday school, or adult Bible school, or meet with our pastor personally by appointment.

From its founding Prince of Peace Lutheran Church has believed, taught, and confessed that...
the Bible is the inspired Word of God, His unchanging and inerrant message to men of all times;
there is only one God. He is three distinct and separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost/
God created man holy and without sin. Man, of his own will, fell into sin and so brought sin on the whole human race;
sin is in all men by nature and reveals itself in every transgression of God's holy will by though, word, or deed;
the wages of sin is death and damnation in hell, an eternal agonizing separation from the holy and righteous God;
God so loved the world that He sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem the world;
Jesus redeemed, that is, justified the whole human race with his holy precious blood and with his innocent sufferings and death;
this glorious fact is accepted by faith which is worked in the heart by the Holy Spirit through the Word, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper;
by faith alone in the atoning work of Christ we are heirs of the glories of heaven. While yet on earth we want to show our love for Him who first loved us;
at our death we shall inherit the full glories of everlasting life with Christ in heaven, where there shall be no pain or sorrow, and all tears shall be wiped from our eyes.
