Prism provides high quality powder coating for all metals and MDF including but not limited to automobile parts i.e.; frames, rims, calipers, motorcycle and bicycle parts, industrial, sculptures, mailboxes, household appliances and outdoor furnishings. Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. It is applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a continuous durable coating. It is used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint without running or sagging. Powder coating is environmentally friendly because it emits zero VOC, the overspray can be recycled and production lines produce less hazardous waste than conventional liquid paint.
Prism Technologies, Inc. is family-owned and operated and welcomed the high volume demand by increasing its space and equipment by relocating to a much larger facility in 2012. This move allowed the installation of an additional larger oven and a third spray booth in which both additions not only accommodate larger sized products but also allows both current and future customers to benefit from the cost-effective production.
Prism produces a unique look for each product by providing over 250 in stock colors with the capability of ordering or custom making any desired color; in addition to offering metallic, holographic, exotic and texture finishes.
