I am sure that anyone that is sent to collections will not have anything good to say. In regards to Professional Finance Company, the above statement holds true. With having a college debt that went into collections, I set up a payment plan with PFC. After saving up, I decided to pay off the debt in total in one payment. After paying in full, I was told that I was completely paid off and the payment plan would be cancelled. To my surprise, PFC took out another payment. I called to figure out the situation and left multiple voice mails with no response. I finally got an opportunity to call during business hours and heard during multiple calls, in sequence "we mailed out a refund check" to "there is no refund check because it hasn't posted" to "we can't look up your account" to multiple times "we will call you back by the end of the day and/or we will get the proper personnel to call you". I have yet to receive one call back. Now, filing a dispute through my bank, hopefully PFC will talk to them.
