I wanted to make a payment and more fees kept getting tossed on my bill, making it impossible to pay. Then the dummy wanted to put me on hold so she could figure out more fees. They were medical bills. If I could pay them I would. Why would you want to make my life harder? Debt collectors are awful people! I also like the responses made by PFC, on comments. They are clearly copy and pasted generic posts. Showing their lack of thought and empathy. They should be embarrassed. Update: responses looked generic, because they were worded exactly the same. When papers were served to my office, my privacy did not seem to be a huge concern. Also my name is misspelled. showing again the lack of concern or empathy. They did change/correct the spelling of my name, AFTER I said that it was misspelled. I have attempted to call a supervisor two times, leaving two messages, and have yet to get a call back. Update: I just paid my principle balance and they plan on taking me to court for just the court fee. Court fees from a court date, that hasn't happened. The worst company I have ever dealt with!

My experience with PFC started out great, most of the people I've talked to have been very helpful and understanding however, PFC as a company is obviously ran by a bunch of money hungry self centered individuals who couldn't care less for the people's lives their profiting off of. I never received a letter from them just a court summons and then after paying on time for 3-4 months I ran into a rough spot financially (I told them I wasn't going to be able to pay that month) and they didn't care they ended up garnishing my bank account and leaving me pennyless and now they will continue to garnish my account until my bill is paid. A big F$&k you to PFC.

S/O this guy named Dylan S. Extremely helpful. This guy is probably the best worker there I've had the pleasure to talk to. If you have to speak to anyone there I suggest him. Again, extremely helpful.

Knowingly and willing break state and federal laws regarding debt collection practices. Have been notified multiple times of an identity theft issue and refuse to investigate, or provide the legally required validation and verification of debt. Have attempted to get name of owner, and real address location to have them served with legal documents, but they will not provide that information. True crooks.

I had a collection of $34 or so go through from what the insurance company didn't pay. I then received multiple calls from "Professional Finance". I agreed to pay the amount that was owed, but then when I asked to receive confirmation that this was paid they told me that they do not send out receipts unless requested in writing. I just made a payment and expect to receive proof from the company that I paid without having to jump though hoops. I requested to speak to a manager and after being blindly transferred to a number of voice mails I finally reached Derik Garhardt. My experience with him made things even worse as he was speaking condescending and said that it was their "policy" but wouldn't explain why nor would send me a receipt of the proof of the money that I just paid. He then became belligerent and hung up on me. No customer service there just a pompous arrogant person. Yes I understand they are in the collection business but still treat people with respect and provide a receipt when money is paid.
