The associate estimator came to my house half an hour earlier than was scheduled - 7:30 am instead of 8 am. He didn't check the leak on my roof. It was too cold for him to get up on my roof and check it. Instead, he wasted 40 minutes of my morning time on talking about his 20 years experience in the roofing business and that he knows better. He gave me $2,100 + HST estimation for fixing my problem. I fixed it with some other company for $350 and got a 1-year warranty.

A very important project that included our new roof, eaves-through, soffits, etc has just been completed. We thank our lucky stars that in our extensive search of a contractor for this big project, where we spoke to numerous different contractors, we came across Professional Roofers. The name of this company speaks for itself. They are not only very professional at what they do, but also in the way they treat their clients. In the 3 days of work of two different teams, we observed efficient and well organized work, and no sign of the irritability and dismissive attitude that we saw in other contractors during previous projects. We asked many questions and expressed concerns, and we were always treated with utmost respect, given detailed answers, and all our requests were addressed. We would like to especially thank our project manager Jonathan for his honest, straight-forward and professional manner. They left behind a beautifully done job, and a carefully cleaned up property - everything to the very last nail was removed, as even our neighbors pointed out in admiration. We would like to thank Professional Roofers and wish them a busy and prosperous future.

we wanted to do our roof before selling our house, its a 4 house townhouse. So we were called back by someone called Diego. he asked on phone what was the color of the roof, because i did not know, he said take a photo and send me. i texted him the photo and told him to make sure that the color matches as it a 4 house townhouse. he came to my house to make me sign the contract. as a good salesman, he recommended to take the premium shingles as there there is life time guarantee. Even though i am selling my house, as a proud home owner i decided to take the offer and pay more to get the premium . i paid 3,450$ for the roof, again he was advised to make sure that the colour match. He saw the colour. The roofers came on d day and start to work on the roof. they completed the job and a quality controller even spoke to my wife advising he is going on the roof to check the work done and they left. When i came home after work in the afternoon to my big amazement... the color does not match! just by placing the 1st shingle, it was obvious the color did not match, then why did they continue! my wife was home, NO ONE advise the colour is not right. even the supposedly quality controller never mentioned this discrepancy. Immediately, I emailed the photo to diego asking him to rectify this as the condo management will not accept this color as it was too obvious. he said its ok, he will speak to the condo management himself and asked me for address to go meet them in person. i received several registered legal letters from the condo management to change the roof colour asap. i had to call Diego several times, he never pick up his phone and if he did, he would said, i will call back and hang up and never calls back. this became an urgent issue as i had sold the house in that week and the seller was going to walk out if the issue was not address immediately. i called the professional roofers office to speak to a supervisor or manager. after several calls, my wife called and got to speak to a supervisor (rude) and she told my wife i have 3 other people waiting here, i will have to call you back and never did. so we called again and got to speak to a supposedly supervisor named Oscar, after reviewing the contract and speaking to diego on other line, he said its YOUR fault, you signed contract for premium shingles which is different color! he said if you want to redo your roof, someone is going to pay fpr this. my wife was telling him but we never asked to change the colour. He said its in your contract, if you want to redo the roof you will have to pay again and ill make discount to pay 2,600$!!! that was unbelievable! my wife told him we will not pay and that we will get our lawyer and his voice tone changed and he said, don`t threaten me with legal matter, i too know lawyer, it will take you years to get what you are asking! wow ! my wife broke down she could not believe it, then to soften the matter, he put me on hold and said "let me see what we can do here." he came back saying the roof has to be done and someone has to pay it, so this is the deal i have for you, you pay half of $2,600 in CASH. no new or other contract will be issued. i had to accept as the selling date on my house has been confirmed. they came, did the roof with right colour and took $1300 in cash, no receipt from them! i had to draft a receipt stating i am paying professional roofer $1,300 in cash. the only mistake i did was to read all the 5* reviews on Professional Roofers! beware dont make same mistake always read the 1* also, they dont deserve even a 1*!!!

Their pricing was pretty good which makes this an attractive offer but you will pay in the quality of work they do. This company works too fast to get the job done and cuts corners on quality. They did not use flashing on my job and instead opted for cheap beads of caulking where shingle meets brick. This is bad. I guess they figure what you can't see up high, you won't know. This company also made false assumptions and did not leave enough shingle overhang to accommodate a proper finishing board along the edge of the roof. They should have asked and in the end, shingles are too short to overlap a fascia board. Again, not enough thought or care. Just slam, bam, thank you mam.

Work colleague of mine recommended Professional Roofers when I needed to replace a few sections on my roof after a storm this summer did some damage. Have to say, totally professional service from the first phone call to the completion of the repair job, cleaned up everything and the roof looks like new! Very impressed with the service as I was pretty worried we would have to replace the entire roof. Would highly recommend them as a trustworthy roofing company in Toronto. Thanks again!
