Progress Street Builders is building our first ever custom built home. The design process was informative, creative, and we received great feedback in order to build a cost-effective home that met our needs. The construction and selections has been so smooth and they've communicated with us every step of the way. We have been aware of changes that have been made and their affect on our budget immediately upon hearing about them. The construction staff has worked in changes we've made late in the process seamlessly to keep us on track for timing and closing. All in all, its been a flawless, exciting time in planning and constructing this house with Progress Street Builders. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to build in the New River Valley area.

Progress Street Builders is a gem. Not only do they build beautiful, top-quality homes, they also build idyllic family neighborhoods and show genuine concern and pride for their product and customers. So many new-construction subdivisions today are cookie-cutter houses clustered on tightly-placed lots. Not Progress Street. The houses and floor plans are all unique, airy, and thoughtfully designed to optimize living spaces and lots. There's lots of consideration for open and common space and creating a neighborly environment that is rare among builders. If you visit a Progress Street house, you will become a fan -- I promise. We bought a beautiful spec home from them and wouldn't hesitate to build a custom home with them. We recommend them to everyone and have converted many friends to neighbors after they've visited our home. From the owners to each employee, Progress Street is a family of caring, dedicated individuals who want you to love your home and who will work with you to ensure that you do for its lifetime. When the inspector examined our house, he said, "You won't find a better-built home in all of Blacksburg." He was right.

We can't say enough good things about Progress Street, from the quality of their work to the quality of the people that work there. I've had many friends in the building industry in my house and they are all amazed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the house. The folks who work there genuinely care about the work they do and want to do everything they can to make your dream house just that. They make one if the biggest financial decisions of you lifetime easy, stress-free and deliver a product that you love and love to show off.

From the design stage to the completion of our home our experience surpassed ALL expectations! Progress Street is a first class operation. We were amazed at their willingness to make sure they understood what we wanted and their workmanship is exceptional. There were never any costs that we were not aware of they use very high quality materials and their knowledge of building materials was impressive. It has been a year and a half since our home was finished and they still check on us to see if there is anything else we need. We have absolutely nothing but praise for this quality operation!

The entire crew at Progress Street are the best in the Business! They go way above and beyond the call of duty during the entire building process and after. Once you build with Progress Street you are a customer for life. We have seen it over and over again how they call us to help them help their customers with issues that appear many years after the building process is completed. In some cases 5-10 years and later. This is something you don't see from many Home Builders!
