Worst ER visit ever. Got checked in pretty quickly. Once they took me back to a room they took me to a tiny room with no TV and a prison style sink back in the back corner. Nurse came in and introduced herself. That was the one and only time anyone came in my room. As she walked out she said the doctor would be in soon. 2 hours later with no one coming in and not even a TV to watch to pass the time I walked out. As i was walking out someone at the desk told me to have a good night. Told them i was leaving as no one had come back and seen me. Not one time did anyone come in to check on me or let me know anything. I will not go back here!! Such a disgrace to the BJC name!!

This place is a joke and giving b.j.c a bad name. Please read these reviews. The over night nurses are so rude and unprofessional. We had to go to higher management to do formal complaints. The doctors were incompetent and that I will see a lawyer. Also while in the e.r the doctor was watching you tube videos while people were waiting hours to see a doctor. I live 5 minutes away and will never go to this hospital again. I will pay extra to go somewhere else.

My daughter was not given proper treatment this morning at this hospital! She's going to get a 2nd opinion and I sure hope nothing goes wrong in the next 2 days with my daughter! THE WORSE EMERGENCY ROOM HOSPITAL I'VE EVER EXPERIENCE!! RECOMMEND NOBODY TAKES THEIR DOG HERE

At the ER for 7 hours so far and only saw the Dr for a few mins. When we complained the head nurse came in and asked how my wife's head is feeling... We are in the ER for severe back pain! They didn't even have what we came in for charted! All they have done so far is give her pain meds in the 7 hours! We will not be back to this hospital.

Took my teenage daughter to ER with horrible lower back pain. The staff gave her an IV, Tylenol and an X-ray, told us there was "no blockage," referred us to GI doc and sent us home. There WAS a significant blockage, and the X-ray pointed to an issue that should have led to additional diagnostics. The hospital staff said the ED doctor was responsible for the misdiagnosis, not the hospital. This visit delayed the path to my daughter's correct diagnosis, and we received a very large bill, even after insurance. UPDATE: Posting this review did help get attention to this situation because the nurse manager did finally return my call. Intially, I was told they would only remove $73 from the bill. I did not accept that, and kept going. It was an involved process, but I did file an appeal to their review board, which was succesful. I did not give up, and the final outcome was satisfactory.
