Had dinner here during Fort Lee’s Restaurant week. OVERALL – Food was very ordinary, and in some cases down right bad. At best I would describe this as decent airplane food…coach! Service was unresponsive and apologetic for the poor food. The ambience is interesting; a large dining space with high ceilings and an almost ‘outdoor’ feel. SPECIFICS – The appetizer was tomato soup with basil. This was a very small portion of what tasted like canned soup with some dry basil sprinkled on for color. Not only was this my impression, but the table to our right made the same comment. I had the grilled pork loin, my companion had the salmon. Both were very dry and had obviously been prepared hours before and kept warm. We waited 10 minutes for our drinks; when we asked for bread we were brought three dried crouton bread slices. I could go on but you; you get the picture. There are too many good restaurants in and around Fort Lee to give this one a second glance.

We visited Prost on a Saturday afternoon with a 6yo and 4yo kid. First of all, I would like to point out the design -- the place evokes the visuals and feelings I would expect from an American bistro. They have done a great job with the furniture, decoration, even the curtains. Unfortunately, this is where the excitement ends. The service has been amateurish: the waiter sat next to us while taking our order, which was awkward, and had weird timing (asking us about the food the minute we got it, or offering to collect plates before we were finished). The food itself was mediocre at best. The mac and cheese was decent, but tasted eerily similar to Kraft (with an overwhelming taste of mustard). The pretzel was salty and dry. The spinach ravioli was tasty, but with a tiny portion (six pieces of ravioli). For sides, we took mashed potatoes, which were watery, and the wild mushrooms were so salty I could barely eat them. I would give Prost the benefit of doubt, it is possible that they're a great place for drinks or brunch (sans children). However, as a family looking for lunch, they were a disappointment.

Prost is a wonderful spot. There aren't many bars at all like it in Fort Lee. The service is very good, at times it can be a bit slow but when all is said and done it I've never left with a complaint yet. Their food is very good. Then menu has changed since it first opened and now it has more of a western influence which is nor good or bad. The cocktails are delicious and decently priced. If you're looking for a good night come to Prost. One con is there used to be live a live DJ on Saturday nights but they no longer have live entertainment.

Mix of Korean and Western dishes. Went here for lunch with 6 others and were seated in the corner table. We wanted to sit in a booth but were told that we would not fit-although I felt it would be fine. Overall, food tastes quite decent but the servers do NOT pay attention. You must always look for them and call on them. If you do not mind mediocre service, then it might be alright. I cannot recommend.
