The food was excellent. I had the quinoa bowl and my wife had the kale, mushroom & Swiss cheese omelette.  Both were delicious and are the reason for 3 stars instead of 1.  The service deserved 1 star.  First we were told there would be a 5 minute wait, not necessarily unreasonable even though we could see there were 2 vacant tables.  We then asked if we could enjoy a cup of coffee while we waited - at the counter with at least 6 empty stools. We were told "no"and that we needed to wait for 5 minutes.  Interestingly, no one ever sat in the empty stools during our entire meal. Even a local customer was puzzled by our rude treatment.  The poor and inattentive service continued throughout our breakfast. Now that you're forewarned, the great food may be worth the poor service.  Good luck.

My husband and I stopped in here for breakfast on our way out of Telluride to the airport in Montrose and we could not have been more pleased.  The "two eggs your way" was truly delicious - poached eggs with duck fat home fries, thick cut bacon, french press coffee, homemade raspberry preserves.  Yum - I can't wait to go back.

My husband and I were there for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved Provisions! They had an amazing drink selection and their chocolate chip cookies were just the most amazing things, course sea salt on top..... To die for,  we took 4 of them on our last trip to provisions before we had to come home :( but as I told Lisa, Becca and Jacki we will be back!!!  We loved the fresh ingredients and you could tell the owner was very involved because we saw her every single time we went... Which was 8 times of 7 days... You do the math but anytime we went the good was amazing and the staff super friendly.  You'd be doing yourself a favor going here, any time of day!

Tried to eat here today. Stood in the door for at least 5 minutes to 10 minutes with an empty and clean table in the back of the house. As we were leaving the very rude server told us that the staff would rather have customers stand and wait in the doorway than sit and wait at a table. The sad thing is we had been wanting try this place for months. No food is worth bad service.

Amazing brunch! Their breakfast potatoes, fried in duck fat, were practically perfect. Home made english muffins to die for, and great tea/coffee. Staff were friendly and gave us hiking recommendations. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough!
