My family and I were victims of a scam by buying a house from someone who didn't own it. Pseg found out and cut our electric, without any regards for my 2 year old, and said their was nothing they could do. So we're sitting in the dark fighting with them everyday trying to get some power.

WE HAVE A PSEG THERMOSTAT
I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO SWITCH IT FROM HEAT TO COOL
I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD COST $150 TO TELL ME
IM 86 AS I TOLD THE REP AND LUCKILY HAVE WONDERFUL NEIGHBORS...SO ITS WORKING
HOW I WISH THERE WAS ANOTHER ELECTRIC  CO TO USE
FOR OVER 10 YEARS PSEAND G HAS BEEN GIVING OUT MY HOME NUMBER FOR CUSTOMER  REPAIRS INSTEAD OF 800 IN FRONT.

Called today and they refused to give me my gas and electric pod Id's so that I could switch my supplier. Isn't that illegal?
