This was my first time visiting a Publix grocery store and I must say it was fantastic! It was very neat, clean, nicely stocked and filled with polite employees. I found myself wondering around the marketplace in search of some lunch but wasn't quite sure what I wanted. They had a salad bar, antipasto bar, sushi, Chinese bar, hot bar and a deli that makes subs, salads, pizzas...you name it! While I was roaming around, I found myself looking over the menu at the deli. The polite and enthusiastic gentleman who was working behind the counter must have caught me looking at the menu, a little confused (because I wasn't sure of what I wanted). He invited me over to the counter, asked if he could help me and I told him that this was my first time in a Publix. He gave me a brief run-down of the deli menu and what they serve and he also gave me a pamphlet of information. He was very kind, warm and full of charm which makes me think he enjoys his job and that's a great thing! I ended up getting a 2 piece chicken meal from the hot bar. That consisted of a humongous breast and a thigh alongside 2 sides of my choice and a roll. The price was only $6.22 after tax! THIS IS NO DOUBT A GREAT DEAL! They have me hooked! I will most definitely be returning!

During peak hours, designated times, or never, the little baskets for children to "help shop," are always going to be a challenge. People ignore their children and then wonder why something happened to him or her. Then, why would anyone need a basket if they do not have the means to purchase items? If you are against omitting them all together, then designate learning times during non peak hours or Saturday lessons for families to attend. I am tired of getting hit in the ankle or watching a parent ignore their child bc they are on the phone. Another point, the prices are too high, while organics should be in its own aisle. I don't need to know where the sugary snacks are, to purchase gluten free organic ones. I am not switching over. :)

DO NOT ORDER CUSTOM CAKES. They are 0-2 for me on birthday cake request. The first I asked and showed a picture of a mint and peach color cake and they used a forest green and neon pink color for my daughters FIRST birthday cake. The second was supposed to be Star Wars theme with black and blue stars around the cake edge and they used blue and teal 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ Safe yourself the stress and hassle of having them redo it and just go to a bakery. Other than that, the customer service is wonderful.

Great food selection. Has Cuban bread. Friendly staff. Need more stores to open. I feel like I am back in Florida. Thanks for coming to Virginia.

The store wasnt busy, had everything i needed, my daughter loved the free cookie, and to top it off there was almost no line to check out. Everyone was very friendly, produce was very nice. We've always had great experience here!
