No wait staff, only one person at a cash register where you order...the one person has to make all the drinks and serve all the food...we ordered and paid for like about $12.99 I thinka specialty plate with corn tortillas we're gluten free...after about ten minutes the server approached us to say no corn tortillas...no corn tortillas at a Mexican restaurant?? This was ten minutes after we ordered and I had to remind the server about the drinks - which we still didn't have...it wasn't super busy either, 3 other tables...I had also ordered enchiladas, which the server said were corn tortillas...so they had corn tortillas but apparently they can't make tacos out of them? Additionally, we never got a refund for the food we paid for but didn't get...if you want good food, this is a great place...I saw one customer get food to go, which I think is the best way to approach this place ...if you want good service - and a refund for food you paid for but didn't get- as well, you should look elsewhere ...
All these low rating reviews are just hating. This place is live. Music's good foods better prices are excellent 10/10 would reccomend Kid-friendliness: Don't bring your kids to a bar
Great little family place. Excellent breakfast tacos. They have their own original combinations and classics as well. Support family business!Food: 5/5
Definitely a hidden gem. One of the best taco places I've ever been to! I would strongly recommend the lamb barbacoa to any lamb lovers. So tender and juicy and it just tastes like satisfaction. The migas taco is also great, flavor is spot on, with the crunchy tortilla strips. We also had the chocolate churro. It was deep fried and I kind of like it. I love the extra crispy outside.
Came to this restaurant on a limb! Didn’t know what to get, Bernie gave my husband and myself recommendations and WOW! it’s an understatement. The food, the margaritas, the michelada all so authentic and good! The selection of salsa is AMAZING!Food: 5/5
Authentic Mexican vibe. Slightly overpriced. Torchy’s is a better value. I will probably go back.Food: 4/5
Stopped in for the first time and wow this place has some of the best authentic food. I got the chicken and steak tacos with guacamole, beans and rice. So flavorful. The limeade drink was so refreshing! Customer service was really good. Whenever I’m back in the area I will definitely stop by!
I wanted to try everything on the menu. It all looks so good. The restaurants a hidden gem on Riverside. It’s really cute inside. Staff was professional, tacos were delicious. Definitely going back.
One of my absolute favorite tacos in Austin! The Pueblo Viejo style is my go-to but the Quesadilla Taco is a close second. Don’t forget the creamy jalapeño salsa! Food from any Pueblo Viejo location is great, but this one is by far the best. When I’ve visited which has been for dinner, I’ve always been able to order immediately and get my food within ~5 minutes. Usually I’m one of the only people there, which I find shocking. The staff are super friendly and the space is clean and well decorated. I rarely write reviews but this is one of the best spots in town and definitely deserves more hype!
A great little “hole in the wall” spot with fun music, decor, and a few tables outside for when it’s not too hot to eat! The pricing is great, and the salsas both fresh and spicy. Love the Guaca Taco and Gorditas. And if you want horchata on the sweeter side, definitely a good spot. Absolutely recommend and will be back!
