Visited this location on Valentine's. I know I should have ordered ahead of time but I didn't. I also know that I should not assume. But I was just thinking that by it being Valentine's that a flour shop would order extra flowers since they have been in buisness for years. I asked if they had purple roses.  The receptionist started out nice and then a older lady near her got in our conversation. The older lady kept saying in a rude voice red roses all we got. I told the receptionist that I would be back and then she turned rude. The way she said bye made me fill as though I wasted her time. Any good receptionist would have said that you for coming.

Our daughter recently had an outdoor garden wedding & I wanted to create a beautiful, Southern charm style wedding atmosphere. Pugh's Florist was a perfect choice! Laura Carter - Pugh's wedding floral consultant, is very knowledgeable & easy to work with, she offers advice & tips for various styles of weddings.  I was being a nervous Mom of the Bride, I called her quite frequently.  The staff were always consistently nice, sure they would be very busy but never rude.  Laura was patient as sometimes I would change a flower or two on our order.  I even provided some urn planters to create an alter, and Laura just told me to call her with the measurements and they would create tall arrangements to fit inside those urns.  It was beautiful! They delivered beautiful floral arrangements, including hydrangeas, peonies, roses, tall sprigs of curly willow in the center of the table arrangements. I received SO many compliments on the flowers and that it looked so dreamy &that it was  like walking into a fairy tale wedding. 

They gave us a beautiful day & memories of a lifetime!  The bride's bouquet of all blush peonies was so beautiful that we are having it preserved in a shadow box.  Pugh's is detailed oriented and gives back to the Mid-South community in all that they do!  They are a local family business and they will treat you like family!!

This place sucks. I support small businesses as much as I can, which is why I decided to go through Pugh's instead of  1800-flowers or what have you. BIG MISTAKE. I live in California and my Mom lives in Tennessee sending flowers is extremely expensive for what they are. Long story short I order flowers and a happy mothers day balloon for my mom and what does she get? Happy Birthday themed crap. Now I look like a bad son Thanks a lot Pughs.
