Our family has been serving the families of Pulaski County with dignity and respect since 1953.
Who We Are
A death in the family is a very sensitive time in everyone's life. During a time of loss, a familiar face can be a very welcome and calming sight. Pulaski Funeral Home and the professional, compassionate staff that make it up are exactly that.
Pulaski Funeral Home has been a familiar face in Pulaski County, Kentucky since our founding in 1953. The business was located at 130 South Central Ave., Somerset, KY until 1967, when we moved to our present location at 165 N. Hwy 2227, Somerset, KY.
When our new building was built, it set several milestones. We were one of the first funeral homes in the area to establish ourselves as a self contained full service funeral facility,. The building was constructed around meeting the needs of those calling upon us for help in a time of loss. The spacious primary funeral chapel was built to hold 225 persons, also the staff are easily able to serve four families at the same time without any one family being in the way of another. Pulaski Funeral Home was also built for those with special needs in mind, it was, and still is, the only funeral establishment in Pulaski Co. KY where not a single step is encountered to get into or out of our facility, also, not a single step is encountered while moving around inside our spacious facility. The Parking lot has doubled in size twice since 1967 to facilitate the ever increasing populace of our county.....it also is level and requires zero special effort for those with special needs.
In the past, Pulaski Funeral Home has been there to establish strong traditions with families and the forward thinking of past leadership has helped this firm remain just as strong today.
Life is always in flux and change is always a constant. Pulaski Funeral Home has been leader in change and continues to offer traditional as well as the most contemporary services. We are proud to be able to provide these services within the means of every family.
